Emery's 2nd birthday party

During Em's party a big rain and thunder storm moved in, but there was no way the rain was going to get in the way of having fun. Kenz went and got her little umbrella and then Emery needed one too, but if you notice Emery's first umbrella wasn't the best for the rain, so then Kenzi decided to share.

Emerys 2nd Birthday was a blast! She got sooooo upset at mom when she tried to cut her cake, so we just kept lighting her 2 candles and singing "Happy Birthday" over and over, she loved it.

It's Emery's birthday Sunday July 27.

Aaron & Loren

Well, school's getting closer. Aaron and Loren both are getting it all paid for by the US government (your taxes, so thank you). It's nice to not have to worry about tuition. We're having fun living up in Logan going about our daily duties.

Aaron is working at a place on campus for a government agency that has to do with the Federal Highways Administration (FHWA). He writes stories for a website called byways.org. He also does movie reviews for The Statesman, USU's campus-wide newspaper. He used to work at a law firm until the recently let him go because they are trying to "cut down." Anyway, that's okay because he was going to quit when school started. So, now he can spend more time with his wife in the morning, and work on writing more.

Loren is working at a Real Estate office as the receptionist/check writer/billboard & sign designer. Basically she does everything at that place except sell houses. She's great at what she does, and loves her husband dearly. She also puts up with her husbands overly crazy love for movies and TV shows, which is hard, really really hard.

Anyway, that's our story for now.
